Program

In our class dedicated to fresh pasta, desserts and artisan products from Etna, you will discover Sicily at the table.

Through the experience you will immerse yourself in the tradition, flavours, techniques and warmth of Sicilian cuisine.

We will meet on the seafront of Giardini Naxos in an exclusive place with interesting architecture where you can admire typical elements of Sicilian design and spend time in good company.
Together with our cooking expert you will have an unforgettable experience.

He will tell you about the history of the macaroni that mothers used to prepare on holidays and of the cannoli, the most loved dessert.

You will also meet the Melanin Hosts who will accompany you in the different tastings that will add to your experience.

During the guided lesson you will prepare your work table where you will smooth out the flour and compose a fragrant, soft and white dough that will be used to prepare the delicious macaroni with the help of the wire tool whose story we will tell you.

While the macaroni is drying to be ready to taste with Sicilian sauces, you will learn how to make the ricotta filling of the famous Sicilian cannoli, a must in the island’s confectionery tradition, which you will decorate by having fun with chopped pistachios and candied fruit.

While waiting to taste what you have prepared, you will take part in three different tastings of Etna products: the first dedicated to Evo oil, the second to wine, the third to sweet and savoury creams served on typical bread from the area.

Last but not least, a taste of Sicilian liqueur and a guided tour of the showroom dedicated to Sicilian producers, artists and artisans whose products you can purchase if you so desire.
